Earth, And It's Large Variety Of Inhabitants

To be lain in a round, solid tomb full of serpentine things, venomous tongues wagging, counting yourself among them, though you’re clearly a feathered creature, fit to soar.
To breathe deep of poisoned air that has been recycled by the lungs of hypocrites and sociopaths along with those of a seemingly smaller group whom are kind intentioned, and to use man made paint to paint a smile on your face, where the inhabitants of earth have painted a frown with the blood of their brethren.
To open your mind farther than their minds may open, so they may call you mad, and in the so called madness you open doors to which your intellect had the keys.
They slide their sharpened, cunning fingers into your brain to attempt, in their limited view, to limit your’s. So that in your then made-limited view, you may accept their’s and call it your own. But it will not suffice.
No, it will not suffice.
All the sweet, sweet angels of heaven may reside in the world, but in their echoing, horrifying silence, hell will burn eternally with demons running about raging and violating. They wear the robe of white and commit black deeds and the world is driving me insane.
Sweet, sweet symbolism, still this aching heart.
How long before claws grow where well manicured fingernails glitter in the sunlight? How long before my human tongue is the stinger of a wasp? How long before my retinas are burned with sights of utter stupidity, and lack of concern for the earth on which we humans walk? Sometimes, the most trivial of social duties is hard for me to do, because I just want to scream at the crazy people I see around me. Oh, excuse me, I mean sane. Sane people. Because they've got the answers, you know?
It seems to me that they say, "Close your mind, my dear, think too hard and who knows what might happen! You may realize beautiful and amazing things and strike terror in our closed minds, dismantle our foundations and melt our plastic hearts!"
Save your tactics, world. You breed the monsters that plague you.
“Let ignorance breed ignorance till it’s weary of it’s own offspring.
Let the blind lead the blind to the pitfall.
Let the dead bury the dead till the earth is choked with her own bitter fruit.” –Jesus, The Son Of Man

Top-level comments on this article: (3 total)You just described creation as it is today. The world is moving in these lines and yet mankind is ignorant enough to "believe" life is moving on an enlightened path, when it is the opposite downtrodden one.I agree completely DM, we think we've got the answers now but the fact that bloodshed, lying, and abuse is still allowed shows that we haven't come that far. There's still work for humans to do here on earth before we're enlightened.
-SydneyJust adding one more thought. There is a prediction that in 25 years time there could be a one world nation. Not just that, all this bloodshed, cataclysms and disasters from nature, are signs towards a better future. I don't know if you have heard this, in holistic healing when the disease is treated, it first gets to its worst condition before the actual healing begins. We as mankind are getting healed slowly by moving into the worst state of earthly life before rising up spiritually.I sure hope so DM, I want the world to be a more peaceful place.
I believe life here on earth is better today than it was 4 decades ago. Just my opinionIt definitely is. That's why I hope it keeps on advancing and evolving.
You are an alien sweet Sydney, as are we all that see very well what you try so hard to inject into a dark hole of madness. That's ok though you are not alone, it only seems like it. One day hopefully we shall all clasp hands, many thousands of years in the future, and look back proudly at a place far in the past that we knew would one day evolve beyond the darkness. See you there angel. Beautiful article.Aw thanks so much David, I really appreciate it. I'd like for that to happen one day, I really, really hope it does.
